2025 Giving: Donations to Five Nonprofits

Turtle Trackers is proud to announce 2025 charitable donations awarded between January 2025 – April 2026, awarding a total of $5,000 to five nonprofit organizations advancing environmental stewardship. These gifts reflect Turtle Tracker’s mission and commitment to strengthening the communities where we live and work.

Nonprofit partners were selected based on mission alignment, demonstrated community impact and responsible stewardship.  

2025 Donation Recipients

  • Sea Turtle Patrol HHI — $1,000 to support the “Fill It Forward” campaign.

  • Hilton Head Trolley Wraps — $1,000 to support sea turtle trolley wrap.  This was awarded to help pay for the wrap and extend our information-reach to trolley riders who may not be aware of our sea turtles and what they can do to support our work in preserving these endangered animals.

  • UGA Sea Turtle DNA Project — $2,000 to support DNA project for SC sea turtle eggs.

  • Outside Foundation — $500 to support the Kids in Kayaks program.

  • Hilton Head Audubon — $500 to support programs and gratitude for 2025 shore bird presentations.

Turtle Trackers remains committed to supporting local nonprofits that protect our coastal ecosystems and educate the next generation of environmental stewards. In addition to annual donations, we encourage hands-on community involvement through volunteer opportunities and partnerships that create lasting impact across the Lowcountry.
